Encounters and Reflections
Kelvinbridge Church offer a new series of early Sunday morning conversations in the Bistro at Websters 416 Gt. Western Rd. with two meetings in November. We meet to start with tea and coffee at 9:30am in front of the fire in the Bar, and finish by 10:20.
(In spite of work being done on the spire, the Bistro will be open for these meetings!) The conversations will be enabled by invited guests
5th November. With Kathy Galloway, writer and campaigner -'Side by side for gender justice'
19th November. With Ruth Forsythe, Project Co-ordinator at Finn's Place, Wellbeing Centre. - 'Silence - A Primal Need.'
Ruth writes, ' Silence is hard to find these days.Is that something we should worry about? If we find some, what should we do with it? Is silence any use to us? And what is silence anyway? We will be looking at some of these questions in order to begin to explore this vanishing commodity in our increasingly noisy world.
